Greetings to new visitors and returning friends. I'm excited to be a part of a wonderful new online event called "Unleash Your Story: Make a Difference."  Our goal is to bring readers and writers together to raise money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF)--the leading organization in the United States devoted to cystic fibrosis.  Our goal is to harness the combined energy of writers and readers to raise $10,000 in the month of September 2008.

I'm still working on my online critique service Athena Critique Services.  My partners for this venture are fellow Zebra Debut authors Flo Fitzpatrick and Sophia Johnson.  Our aim is to help new writers find their voice and bring their stories to life.  We are not book doctors or ghost writers--we firmly believe that the story belongs to the author and our job is to help the author bring the story up to a publishable level.  Check out our workshops and our Writer's Gear Store.

My novels, Loving Mercy and Loving Miranda have been honored as Willa Literary Award finalists. This award was created to honor outstanding women's stories set in the West. My latest story, "Moonlight Whispers" appears in the anthology, My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys.
